Biologists Show A Year In The Life Of Quetico Park

Biologists from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry shared a video this week of some of the wild animals filmed between August 2017 and July 2018 by a camera on Pickerel Lake in Quetico Park.

The video shows a bald eagle, beavers, wolves, geese and many other species of birds and mammals.

The area seems particularly popular with moose, which appear several times, summer and winter.

“So beautiful that there is so much gorgeous wildlife in just one corner of the planet. Thank you for sharing this what a gift,” wrote one viewer on Facebook.

Quetico Provincial Park is located about two hours drive west of Thunder Bay, near the municipality of Atikokan.
